The design of the product, proper magnet installation and manufacturing of the final assemblies offer a unique set of challenges. Dangers, safety considerations and best practices are often overlooked until an accident occurs.
This webinar will discuss the importance of understanding magnets and magnetic safety when it comes to assembly of couplers and rotors. Additionally, we will specifically walk through assembly of couplers and rotors and offer best practices on magnet installation, design for manufacturability and guidelines for final assembly.

Meet the Speaker:

Dexter Magnetic Technologies, Inc.
Mr. Ras graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Mechanical Engineering prior to beginning his career as an Applications Engineer at Dexter Magnetic Technologies. Mr. Ras maintained a focus of technical development during his nearly 20 year tenure at Dexter. He has been intimately involved in the design and precision manufacture of numerous high powered magnetic assemblies utilized in the Semiconductor, Oil and Gas, Medical, and Aerospace industries. Today Mr. Ras leads Dexter's technical directives as the Director of R&D Engineering. He is the primary inventor of two US patents related to magnetic assemblies and has co-authored an IEEE paper related to advanced magnetic gear design.
