Understanding Magnetic Technology - Magnetics 101
May 6, 2016
2:00 PM ET
In this webinar, we provide a brief review of magnetic theory and ferromagnetism and will introduce the basic properties of permanent magnets. We also demystify some of the terms and definitions commonly used to describe magnetic materials. This webinar will lay the groundwork for PMD’s (Permanent Magnet Division of MCMA) future courses on magnetic materials and magnetic assemblies. The presentation is designed to help everyone understand some of the complex theories, terms and units of measurement for magnetic materials. The webinar is ideal for designers, purchasers and end users of magnets and magnet assemblies.
