Technical Sales Cable Industry

Overview:
Implement strategic objectives for the business activity Automation & Drives within the region. Determine and execute development paths for accounts, products and applications. Manage a set of key accounts while actively striving to identify and win new major accounts in the Cable Industry.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Task/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to meet established sales objectives in the region together with local/global team
  • Identify and realize market potentials in the Cable Industry segment
  • Manage existing accounts, develop and deliver on new growth opportunities
  • Identify new target accounts and come up with strategies and measures to gain access to those accounts
  • Achieve significant growth in sales across a variety of accounts covering all major product groups
  • Maintain close coordination with Director of Sales for BU Automation and Drives as well as European headquarters on progress within territory
  • Establish target/budget figures for directly managed key accounts and continuously report progress on an account level

Minimum Skills & Abilities

Basic and Preferred Qualifications:

  • At home with Industrial data and motion control cables
  • Knowledge of connector and assembly market
  • Professional attitude towards sales interaction and communication, maintaining trustworthy relationships
  • Basic knowledge about cable designs for data and motion control cables
  • Authentic, loyal and possessing integrity personality with good reputation/references in the industry
  • Structured problem solving capabilities, self-motivated and organized, enjoys working in CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel 40> per year, including overseas
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, feels comfortable to work with international colleagues
  • Familiar with common IT-software (MS Office, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Language skills: native in English additional languages considered an asset
