ORMEC Changes to Motor Line-Up

N-Series Motors: New Model Additions
ORMEC announced the addition of several new models to the line-up of N-Series motors that includes motors on both ends of the Speed/Torque Curve.
On the lower continuous torque range, the NE-Model of motors adds capabilities ranging from 2.83 lb·in (.23 NM) to 42 lb·in (4.77NM) continuous torque with maximum speeds reaching 6,000 RPM.
On the opposite end of the continuous torque spectrum, two new models are introduced, MAC-NB840C and MAC-NC1200C, (95.4 NM) and 1239 lb·in (140 NM) respectively.
Table 1 shows all currently available new N-Series Motor Part Numbers.

D-Series Motors: End of Production
Introduced in the early 1990's, the D-Series motors have been used on a broad range of applications initially with the GENIII Motion Control System and then later, the ORION Motion Control System.
These motors, have been available and continually supported throughout the entire production run and even today, they are still supported in the latest ORMEC Motion Control Systems including the XD-Series Indexer and all ServoWire® based Servo Drives with SMLC.
Availability of products classified as End of Production is extremely limited. Once supplies are exhausted, they will be listed as obsolete. ORMEC will also continue to provide limited support and repair for motors in the field.
Effective April 1, 2018, some models of D-Series Motors will also receive a price increase. Orders received prior to April 1, 2018 with requested delivery prior to August 31, 2018 will not be subjected to the price increase. Orders received after April 1, 2018 or with a requested delivery date beyond August 31, 2018 will be subject to the price increase.
HE-Model of H-Series Motors: End of Production
Introduced in the late 1990's, the H-Series motors have been used on a broad range of applications initially with the ORION Motion Control System and then later, the XD-Series Indexer and all ServoWire® based Servo Drives with SMLC
The H-Series Motors included in its model range, the HE-Model have continuous torque rating between 2.8 in-lb and 42 in-lb providing big performance in a small package. The specific models included are as follows:

Availability of products classified as End of Production is extremely limited. Once supplies are exhausted, they will be listed as obsolete. ORMEC will also continue to provide limited support and repair for motors in the field. All models of H-Series were set to Legacy Status July 31, 2017.
